Karen Travers Studios is a newborn, milestone and family photographer in the Anchorage, Alaska area, with a studio in Chugiak, Alaska.
I want to capture the chaos, the giggles, and the ‘everyone just smile!’ moments of family life—without the stress, the awkward poses, or the bribery (okay, maybe just a little bribery). I make photos fun, natural, and actually frame-worthy, so you’ll have memories you want to show off—not just stash in a digital graveyard.

Sleepy snuggles, tiny toes, and those once-in-a-lifetime first days. I will safely pose your baby while also providing wraps, props, and setups—just bring the baby and the diaper bag.
family & maternity
Snuggles, tickle fights, and real laughter—no stiff, awkward poses. Family and maternity sessions happen outdoors or in my cozy studio in Chugiak. I’ll guide you through outfits, locations, and prompts so it feels like play, not a chore.
