Winter finally arrived in Alaska! We got ALL the snow we’ve missed out on for the last month over the last weekend and I’m not sad about it. It’s SO beautiful outside! I’ve done a lot of holiday mini sessions, so this session is from before the craziness of the holiday portrait season kicked in.

Mom wanted a baseball theme, and I love the way this came out! Then when this little blue eyed cutie came in, I was obsessed. He had the most serious face for the most part, but all smiles for mom and we got some cute baby boy smiles when mom leaned in and tickled his toes.

Fun fact about babies at sessions: they all mostly freeze like statues for the first 10 minutes. After that, they start to warm up a bit and realize that myself and my flash are maybe not so bad, and that’s generally when I get my smiles. (There is always the exception to that rule with babies that want NOTHING to do with the entire process.)
