This was one of my first summer sessions this year, and I’m in love. This family is so sweet with their boys, and their gorgeous parents. We got lucky with the sunshine, the day had been overcast right up until their session!

Summer in Alaska is so short, and I swear this year was even shorter. It rained so often that by the time we actually had some sunshine, summer was over. I love when we get a break like this and can run out and get some photos to remember what it looks like when it’s green and sunny and warm because before we know it, it’s January and dark and cold, and having these photos on our wall helps us remember why we live up here.
